Goodbye Seoul, It's been a blast

I've decided to put some pictures up that will remind me of my year in Seoul, and since this is my new blog, people can quickly see what I was up to last year. This has taken forever to put them up, and I need to go to bed soon, so I'll write some quick comments, and go to bed. This isn't even a little of what I did, but I'm tired of putting more pics up. These pictures aren't quite in order either, but it'll have to do.

Umm... I apologise, I know the pics don't all match the comments about them, I'm too lazy to try to fix it though, it looked fine before I published it.

New place, new blog

This isn't going to be long, but I decided to change my blog from MSN Spaces to here because I think it's easier for me to get at then MSN. We'll see how it works. I just got home to Saskatchewan yesterday from Seoul, South Korea. Well, not home... I don't really have a home in Saskie, but for a week or two I'm staying with mom and dad (whom I haven't lived with since I was almost 18). I just did the math. Nine years. I shouldn't have done the math. Then I'll head to Saskatoon, Regina or MooseJaw to see everyone else I need to before I leave again.

I arrived in Saskatoon airport last night at 5pm after spending more than a day flying around in planes. The good news is, I pretty much gained a day because of the time change. The bad news is, I hadn't slept in three days, so I was too tired to care. I'll also be losing it again in a month and a half.

It's strange here. There is such a lack of buildings and people, and there is so much open space. It's disconcerting. It's also weird to see so many people speaking in English. I think at times I am quieter than I was both before I left and while in Korea. I'm trying to take it all in, and I'm used to not talking as much because the language barrier made me quieter.

So here I am, back in my small town (although it was never mine), Plenty, after being gone for ever. I have to say, even though I already had this figured out, I'm not a small town girl, and I will never be a small town girl. Seoul was a huge place with a massive amount of people, buildings and pollution, but I got around fine, and sometimes enjoyed the rush. There is NO rush in Plenty. Ever. I guess it's definately a nice place to relax.

Of course, Thailand will also be a nice place to relax, and I will be headed there in a month and a half for two weeks. Then I will be off to Taiwan, where I will be teaching for 11 months.

This was longer than I thought. I'm planning to add some pictures on here into my entries, but it will have to wait until tomorrow. I'm tired, and still have to get the pictures onto the computer. (I'm using mom and dad's pc instead of my laptop.)
